Those who are eligible for the program – whether new or returning – are sent an invitation to sign-up. Sign-up is the first step in the enrollment process, where invitees claim either a guaranteed space in the program or a place on the waitlist for one of our campuses.

We stage invitations for the program in two waves typically during January.

Scholars eligible to return to DECATS have guaranteed space for two weeks until invitations are sent to first-time attendees, at which point all spaces are first-come, first-served until campuses reach capacity. To claim a guaranteed space in the program, you must complete the sign-up form and submit your enrollment deposit, both in your myStatus portal.

Once a campus reaches capacity, additional sign-ups will add to the waitlist for that campus. You will be able to know whether a campus has guaranteed spaces or only waitlist spaces at the time you go to sign-up using the link in your invitation. No enrollment deposit is required to subscribe to the waitlist. You may only pursue admission to one campus (i.e. you cannot occupy a guaranteed space at one campus while being part of the waitlist for another campus).
